It’s Canada Day/midweek weekend time, and here’s a rundown of a couple of events worth checking out…

Blue Tile Lounge, Krooked, Spitfire, Thunder and Cons are putting on a game of S.K.A.T.E. and a Canada Day BBQ in New Market next to the BTL store. There’s a catch though, you have to plat the game on a Zip Zinger, Zip Zagger or a Zip Zagger Nano.

The Bowl Series inaugural event of the year goes down as always at Seylynn on Canada Day. It’s Canada’s longest running, Grass roots contest series and it’s a huge turnout every year, so if you’re in Vancouver it’s a good way to spend your Canada Day.

The guys at Gold Wheels are giving back with their third Mixtape hosted by none other than Stevie Williams and DJ Fu. Head over to the Gold site to get yours and if you missed the second, you can grab that too…
