Oust Moc9 Bearings

Speed and cleanliness have always been two major issues in the Manufacturing process. The Moc 9 Airrr... addresses both issues. Manufactured with the highest quality USA made balls, finer polished raceways and a seal system that is different from all other methods of bearing seals in the bearing industry at the present time.
The Moc 9 Buna Non-Contact Seal is set into a U-channel design in the outer race and a stop on the inner race to keep all foreign particles out of the ball area. It also stops any oil leakage that might occur on a standard bearing seal. The Moc 9 design changes put the Airide a step ahead of all other bearings.

Paskapoo Downhill July 24-26

http://www.winsportcanada.ca/cop/copevents/special_events.cfm#paskapoo

After a one-year hiatus, WinSport Canada in partnership with the Speed and Longboard Association of Calgary (SLAC) is proud to bring back the Paskapoo Downhill Rodeo at Canada Olympic Park July 24th-26th, 2009.

This event is free to the public and features our dynamic, switch-back course known for its smooth ride, sharp turns and ridiculous speed. Six turns, intense straight-aways and the occasional speed bump make the ride down an absolute thrill, but the quick ride back up on our high-speed quad chair is what makes our course one of the finest in the world.

The event in 2007 saw speeds of 84.6 KMPH (52 MPH) in stand-up longboard qualifying and it is expected that that this year longboarders will exceed 90 KMPH (56 MPH)

The previous Paskapoo Downhill Rodeo registered more than 150 racers from around the world and this year’s event is expected to draw more than double that number making the 3rd edition of the Paskapoo Downhill Rodeo one of the largest competitions in the history of skateboard gravity sports.

In the past, the Paskapoo Downhill Rodeo has attracted racers from five Canadian provinces and one territory (Alberta, BC, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, North West Territories), as well as racers from all over the  United States (Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Texas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico), and seven other countries including Germany, Switzerland, England, Norway, Africa, Brazil and New Zealand.

While previous years have required these out of town riders to find off-site accommodations, this year’s event will include camping, late-night bonfires, athlete meals and nightly entertainment sure to thrill.

Details surrounding the Friday night and Saturday night party will be posted here as bands and DJ’s and event sponsors are confirmed.

SOME GOOD NEWS AND BAD

So, hahaha we thought we fixed our site slowness problem by signing a treaty with the aliens but now we finally know why it is slow.  After further talking with our service provide, they discover our account was their  #1 usage of bandwidth on their server.  So they are having to throttle our bandwidth, because it is so high and we are majorly maxing out.   So in the end we have to look for a new service provider that can handle a ridiculous amount of bandwidth.  So it shall be a bit of work on our end but it will all work out well soon enough and we are stoked to be getting so much traffic.  Keep it a coming.  We will let you know when we finally make the switch.

FEATURED STORY

Loaded y Orangatang gang and friends took a road trip to Santa Barbara to scout some hills and skate some uncharted territory for us.  We skated roads so horrible and rough through dense fog that sent some people back to the cars.  Skated very turny technical hills and ridgeline cruisers with beautiful views.  READ THE FULL STORY.  Here is a video of a bit of what we did by Jimmy Flynt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOPePNb_trA

UPCOMING LOADED y ORANGATANG VIDEOS

It has been some time since myself, Adam S. and Flat top have put out a video. Just having too much fun skating.  Anyways we have a couple video ideas planned for the summer.  The 1st one is for the CW Evolutions DVD that will feature a variety of riding from myself, Flat Top, James and Louis.  We will release this video on our youtube account as well.  Later in the Summer I hope to film a very chill dancing video with Adam S.  as well as a sick free-riding video with the O'tang Crew.  Stay tuned.
